Rita ( Bob's Wife )remembers Bob: " With Bob people often just look on the fame and the achievements and they think, "Bwai, it sure must be nice being Bob Marley." It wasn't necessarily like that, though. There was a lot of sadness inside him, which would just come over him now and then. Even in some of his pictures you can see it: "I'm so happy to be happy, but I'm sad." And you would find he would go overboard to make other people feel happy. Sometimes people just saw him as a singer. But there were a lot of other things going on in Bob's life that he wasn't able to express to other people. He grew up a loner, yet at the same time he was still able to give and to share whatever he thought he could give to make others happy. If someone's goat was down in a pit, Bob would go down there to get it, just to make them happy. Even to the end that's how he was."
